There is a lot coming down the pipe right now for me. Since my last post (OVER 2YRS AGO!!!!) I've been putting some wheels into motion and laying down groundwork for a new publishing company. Since my last post, The Kid and I have released 2 comic books and are working on a third. I've already fleshed out 2 new stories and the hits keep coming.

Not that I'm here often, but when things get rolling, there will be a lot more fire in DA.

Ciao for now,

I'm currently writing a 15min action film for next year. Currently, I'm storyboarding and scripting the 5 actions scenes within this short short. It's about an assassin named Null who ends up in a situation involving another assassin, 2 goons for hire, a detective and journalist.

Other news:
Kid :iconthe-kid36: and I are currently putting together a demo for next year's CNAnime and ComicExpo and Anime North Convention as well. We are showcasing 2 comics that are in the works -- Tru Vibes and Sonic Spinz -- and advertising for a couple other in-house projects, such as Project Reaver, Dead Haunt (video game) and Vibes: Fighting Girls (video game).

Project Reaver is a 6 part series that I'm putting together as a package to sell to a publisher (gaming/comic/animation) who's interested in taking the idea and running with it. The indie publishing labels out there are getting pretty saturated with a lot of unfinished, unpolished, and for some, under developed stories and characters. It's all about how well dude/dudette can colour in painter/photoshop and the true stroke and story are left to be desired.

The inception of Dead Haunt derived from several gaming and anime stories I love. I wanted to create a 2D fighter/Beat'em up similar to most out there but with more of a 'Choose your own adventure' feel to it. Character design and storyline is really straight forward and characters are diverse and fun. The real joy in putting together a game like this is that almost anything goes. In addition, after seeing a demo for the new game "Shadow Complex" I confirmed my desired execution.

Vibes: Fighting Girls is basically what the title infers. 2D fighter starring all the girls from Vibes (the-Kid36's original comic concept). We're introduced to all of the girls from Vibes, as well as a lot of the other characters via a special Assist Super Combo system that initiates the help of these other chars in the Vibes comic. So there is no short of action, and almost the entire Vibes cast is portrayed through this game. Obviously, it's all about the titties *smirks* so only the girls are playable -- with 2 alternate colours and an alternate outfit option plus unlockable characters, stages and bosses -- this game is sure to entice even the pickiest of 2D fans because of it's skill-required combo system and varying attack techniques.

More to come on the creative front later.

Ciao for now.
